Is this even legit practice? and I will need a rental car anyway and will be returning my rental car on the last day in LA in that area anyway. The motel says its guests can use the shuttle service provided by the many car rental companies nearby. The only downside there's no airport shuttle. The room rate is low but the rooms clean and comfortable, and the location less than a mile from LAX, and I am not inclined to spend much when I'm not staying overnight and will only be using the room as my chill out base. So I was back looking at booking a full day and checking out at 8pm, when I saw this motel with pretty good reviews very close to LAX. When I was packing for the conference last week, I slid the one of the two books I had bought into my yellow bowling bag and chided myself for not having read that and the other, by then. I quickly put a couple of her books on my Amazon wishlist (a receptacle for all sorts of thoughts and things)-after swiftly Googling her and smiling smugly at her Pulitzer. Along with the nice words was a comparison to Anne Tyler. Along with the email were some very nice words about my writing. I’m not going to lie here when I say that I struggled a little getting through this book, I feel that it would have been a lot more enjoyable were I still in my teens.
